Unbeknownst to everyone, I’ve been recording corny demos to spark creativity and inspiration with my real medium. I don’t know what’s that called, but I’m just going to say sonic imagery, like, seeing stuff with what you hear. Anyway, I was playing around with something last night and it started to sound like Grimes’s Genesis so I took a jab at it. Note: messy as hell ‘cause I didn’t have patience to tweak echos and reverbs at 3AM. Gurl, bai.
EDIT: I was playing Joanna Newsom’s Peach Plum Pear and if you know the song, you’d know it has the similar octave jumping situation going on.
